Problem Judgment and Trouble shooting of CO2 Laser Tube
1, Power is lower or fall too fast
A, Please inspect whether the current is more than 10% of the current allowance, Working under this condition for long time will lead to the power fall fast;
Please confirm whether the power supply is matching the tube
Please confirm whether the voltage is normal.
B, Please check whether water-cooling system is normal. Water-cooling system includes water-cooling temperature, water flow and quality of cooling water. Check whether the water-cooling is connected according to the water intake at low position and out let at high position. The temperature of water should not be exceeds 30℃ under working conditions. Water flow is more than 4L/min (flow data will improve according to different specifications). Cooling water needs to be changed frequently. Keep the water-cooling system clean.
C, Check whether the output lens, mirrors and focus lens are polluted, and make sure the light path adjustment is right. Lens are easy to be polluted when be adjustment,Please clean by 99.7% dehydrated alcohol.
D, Observe the electrical discharge color, when the color become blue, purple or white, it is off normal.
2, Beam mode is not good or change.
A, Please inspect the water-cooling system is right.
B, Check whether the operating current is too large.
C, Please ensure the installation direction is same as upward indicated direction on label
D, Please ensure the supporting points of laser tube is at 1/4 of the both ends of laser tube.
E, Check whether the lens be polluted or be covered by other object.
F, Check whether the electric discharge color is normal. The spot beam maybe change if the gas leakage
3, Laser tube cannot emit the light.
A, Please make sure the connection of power cable is correct.
B, Check whether the electric discharge color is normal. Whether is glow discharge. If the appearance is without damage, evidence the gas leakage if the color is blue or purple.
If it exist high-voltage discharge noise while the no glow discharge high voltage terminal shooting, evidence the gas leakage
C, If glow discharge appears pale and there is no output of tube, it states the gas decomposition.
D, It states the high voltage breakdown, If there are bright white light when high voltage terminal shooting.
It appears wave line when glow discharge that sates the high voltage breakdown.
Please check whether the water-cooling is normal and the voltage is high, whether matching power supply is right.
E, Please check whether there are water in the laser tube, check whether inner pipe is damaged.
4, Laser tube cracked and breakage.
A, it appears circular arc shape cracks often occur at the place of ten centimeters from the glass joint. The phenomenon is usually caused by stress.
B, it appears zigzag shape crack, generally happen around negative electrodes. Have a serious broken and lots of fragments. This damage is caused by water cooling system.
C, Breakage of electrode or water cooling box. Electrode terminal or water cooling box were treated with high temperature. It won’t be damaged without external force. It can be restored if water cooling box or electrode terminal is not fundamentally damaged and lens in tube are without pollution.
C, the damage of electrode terminals or water cooling box, electrode terminals and water cooling box are both heat treatment, without external force, it won’t be damaged, if the water cooling box and electrode column is not a fundamental damage and the lens without pollution is able to repair.
5, Engraving effects are not good.
A, Check the laser tube and power supply is compatibility. It is appears phenomenon of trailing or time or uneven background is caused by bad matching.
B, connect or cut the filament that connecting negative electrode terminal and metal water cooling metal box.
C, Please make sure the setting engrave parameters is correct.
6, Cutting result is bad.
A, Please check whether cooling-water system is normal.
B, Please make sure the focus length is normal.
C, Adjustment the amount of air conditioning to reach the suitable range.
D, Change the image (round, square) in software for cutting to determine whether there is something wrong with design pattern.
